Happy New Year!!!!! Hope this year will be a super great year for all of you:)
Its been a long while since my last post:)
Restaurant Review
Me and my other two partners who are Risako and Miyo were given the artical of Dirty French
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/10/dining/restaurant-review-dirty-french-on-the-lower-east-side.html?ref=dining&_r=0
・Does the reviewer show any special "insider" knowledge of the chefs or the retaurants's plans for the future?
Yes. Its writen how the chefs named the retaurant and how the chose to anounce it and thier plans of opening more of thier restaurant.
・What is the writing style of the review ?
It is writen in flowery language with expressions that are not easy to understand. Reading it made me think that maybe it is more understandable for people who well know the taste of french.
・Does the review include a convenient grid so that the reader can see, at a glance, such facts as the restaurants location, the price range of menu items, wheelchair, accessibility, etc.?
Yes it does. The address is written down with categories as
ATMOSPHERE ,SERVICE ,SOUND LEVEL ,RECOMMENDED,DRINKS AND WINE ,PRICES,OPEN,RESERVATIONS,WHEELCHAIR ACCESS.
・What did you learn about the values of the reviewer and cultural values through this view?
The taste and the apperance and atmosphere were quite on the point by thereviewer but I could not find the cultural values through it.
・Based on the review , would you and your partner like to try this restaurant? Why or why not?
I would love to try this restaurant because I thought it might be good reading the review of the category I wrote in the third question. And I have never eaten french so I would like to experience the taste of it.
