Obon De Gohan

 

I went to a retaurant called Obon De Gohan which is in Tokyu Square Musashikosugi with my mother and my youngest sister. Tokyu Square is conected to both JR Musashikosugi Station and Toukyu Toyoko Line Musashikosugi Station so it is very easy to access.

Obon De Gohan is a retaurant which serves japanese food in well balanced and healthy menuw in a cafe style. You can choose your favorite dish from the wide variety of menus, and plus you can choose your rice from three types that are normal white rice, unpolished rice and rice mixed with hijiki(edible seaweed)

The appearence of the retuarant is in gentle japanese cafe style and has a good atmosphere that makes it easy for every one to go inside the restaurant.
The light in the restaurant were very warm and makes the whole place comfortable.My mother liked the chair and table that were simple ad homely which was very comfortable to seat on too.
There were groups of families and old people but mostly there were many ladies .
We went to the restaurant on January 3, that many people were shopping at Tokyu Square for the sale and stuff so it was noisey and a bit crowded.
The reataurant does not have a door and it is not completly separated from the shopping area which made the noise of the crowd louder than the backmusic playing inside the restaurant. Which spoilt the comfortableness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The waiter who sered us was a very nice lady with a great smile and friendliness.But when we wanted our orders to be taken we had to call out 3times till one of them could come by to us.
The restaurant itself is not that very large but because of the crowd and noise was one of the reasons why this happened.

Sequence of Service

 

14:06    Arrived at the restaurant. 2pair of people were waiting to be seated before us.

 

14:15    We were seated and given menus and served water at the same time.

 

14:20     We ordered our food. The staff was very neat that she repeated our order to make sure it was

              correct.

 

14:40    Our dishes came at once.

 

14:50     The server came to check if our cups were still filled with water.

 

15:10      The sever came to check if we wanted some desert and cleared the dishes.

 

15:20       We went to pay our check.

 

 

 

 

The restroom was outside the retaurant. It was clean and fancy and very thoughtful for ladies.
